It looks good:thumbsup I'm wondering, will those tail lights go through inspection or will you have to change them back?

Definatly drop them tails quick!

As for the rest of the car, it looks great. I suggest painting your rims gunmetal and leaving the outside lip silver.

Yeah Im gonna go back to the stockers, anyone want to buy some "custom" taillights?

Ive always wanted gunmetal rims... where can i get that done? or can i do it myself with special paint?

Chamuko, I love the hood... I almost dont want to get rid of it. Hopefully chrysler kid will forget about it.

thanks again!

No its not a Greddy SP, its a Tanabe G-Medallion. (sp?)

Steve (Downazzdsm) gave it to me for FREE! The entire catback in perfect condition. It is so deep. People can hear me from inside our church when i enter the parking lot. and the doors are closed. and im not reving past 2k rpms!! :o

Lookin good mang! :thumbsup

Even though the tails just don't *feel* right. They work because they are different, you know? :wary You don't have a Mitsu logo or some Kanji or even the fake-ass circles there, just the lines. I think it is still very clean. Like just washed clean. ;)

Nice ride man.

good progress pics. the tails looks aren't my thing, i'd just go with stockers and painted center.

are you going with an aftermarket body kit?

i'd personnally go with a 97-99 conversion, maybe just the 97-99 front with turbo spoiler.

also get hood pins defenitely cause of the horror stories of them flipping back and getting damaged at 25mph (i think it was bucknutty that this happened to).

i luv the gsx wheels man. wanna sell it to me....LOL

theres this dude on the dsmtuners gallery, he had the gsx wheels painted black or gunmettal in the center area, and left the lip silver. IT LOOKS SOOOOO NICE!!!!!!!!!!!

i love the white with carbon fiber though. then again carbon fiber always looks good with a stock body.

weezle, seriously think about painting your gsx rims gunmetal yourself. I saw an eclipse on the 10 about a week ago, it was lowered with the stock 97+ gs/gst rims, and they were painted gunmetal. I have to say it looked seriously badass, and they were only 16's!

Duplicolor Paint. They have gunmetal.
-Clean the wheel
-Sand it w/a 3m sanding pad.
-Wash it of and dry it.
-Mask off what you don't want painted
-Spray 3-4 coats of paint, wait 15-20 minutes in between coats(<that is important)
-Spray 3-4 coats of clearcoat.
-Take off tape(masking) and let it fully dry for a day or so.
-Polish the lip w/whatever. Someone else can probably recommend something for that. I just use a dremel.

Done! i have done a set of tsw vx1's that I did. I did them graphite grey(little lighter than gunmetal) They are 16's w/a good set of dunlops on them. I want to get rid of them for like $350. Tires have like 90%+ tred left on them.

>Sand it w/a 3m sanding pad.

I would use a high grit sanding pad, 220-400 grit wet sand.

Btw i need to talk to you about the bumper.
