53676, pro kit install .. looks? (some questions) Posted by Wtngclan, Jul-26-03 09:50 AM
im in the process of installin my prokit i have 2 wheels done .. it doesn't look like that much of a big drop at all so far .. i can't even notice it or the wheel well gap difference (i have 18s now) .. is anyone elses like this or did i mess up? .. also when i dropped the front pass wheel after i was done i heard like a sorta 'pop' .. possible the shock blew? how would i check/know? thanks

well im all done except for one side (driver back) which i messed up the shock and broke the top off (gettin a new one in a little bit) .. my opinions on prokit:
well before w/ 16's and stock suspension i had 4 fingers of wheelgap ..now w/ 18s i have 2 1/4 on the rear and 2 on the front so it did lower my car .. my car doesn't look 'slammed' at all but i guess thats not what these springs are suppost to do.. i dunno i wish i sorta got sportlines for the slammed look but these are prob best .. they killed the wheelgap pretty good .. im using stock shocks right now until i get more moneys up .. now i just need a wheel alignment .. bah (pullin to the left crazy)

sportlines would have givin ya a real harsh ride....that's why i got rid of mine and went to prokit springs.

Sportlines and H&R springs will slam u pretty damn good. Prokits only drop u a little over a inch which is cool if you cant drive a lowered car :)

give it one to two months. at first i thought the drop was not low, but once the springs settle, it will lower. like mine is 1.3, but its more like 1.7.
