did you remove the little screws in your factory gauge faces then reinstall them through the indiglows? Also, did you use anykind of adhesive behind the indiglows? You may have a bubble or a lump that will cause your gauges to do all kinds of crazy shit. I can also be off center and the rotating portion of the needle is rubbing against the gauge.

sounds like u took the needles off. calibrating them isn't fun and can be a tad time consuming for perfection...

you need to find one of those speed readers on the side of the road.
the ones that clock you and display how fast you are going... that makes it easy hehe.

get 2 friends to help you. 1 of them needs to drive in front of you and put on their hazards when they get to like 30 mph and hold it there. The other friend needs to hold the steering wheel and while all of this is going on you need to put your needle back on the speedo...whala you should be set.

As stated above it could be 2 things, when i put my gauges in the weren't completely flat so the speedo and the gas gauge kept getting stuck, i fixed that with double sided tape. When i did my indiglo needles i had to remove them. All the other needles were easy, but the speedo was a PITA, i drove side by side with a friend doing 60 on the turnpike and he gave me thumbs up when he held it at exactly 60. I'm still like 2-3 MPH off i think, those road side things are always different, 1 clocked me at 4 MPH less than my speedo said and the other said i was 2 MPH over. It's fine if you are a few off, but remember if your tire diameter is bigger than stock your going to be a little off anyway. Just get it as best you can and you'll be fine :thumbsup Good luck.

heh if its JUST your speed needle.. match it with RPMS like for me.. 34mph is 3k RPMS and 4th gear at 1.5k RPMS goin 60mph is 2k in 5th i think and 70 is 3k in 5th.. I think. i can't remember but I do know for sure about the 34mph thing tho cuz this also happened to me with the needles and before that using the manual recommended shifting points, you would shift exactly at 3krpms for whatever the recommended shifting speed is.
anyway kinda confusing. hope it helps

hmm couldnt edit above post. anyway, sorry.. wrong figures above. 2k RPMS @ 3rd gear = 30mph 2k RPMS @ 4th gear = 40mph 2.5k RPMS @ 3rd gear = 34mph 2.5k RPMS @ 4th gear = 44mph
heh. didn't go above 50 tonite so hope that helps.
