53434, HELP! Body Kit / License Plate Illumination Posted by TrickedEclipse95, Jul-23-03 09:33 AM
I have a 95 mitsubishi Eclipse. I bought the blitz rear bumper for it. I need "Tag Lights" or something to illuminate my rear license plate.
What did you do and where did you get it?
I don't have my stock bumper or the stock tag lights anymore b/c the bracket that held them in place was almost rusted through.

well you probably need reverse lights too. your best bet is just buying a rear bumper that comes with the light harness

I used those little led winshield washer squirters and hooked them up. They look good and shine bright enough to show the plate.

I drilled holes in the casing around the actual light covers and cut two holes in the kit above the license plate and mounted them in. it works perfect.

You could get a Neon Liscense plate frame in white and flip it backwards for a halo effect. I was thinking about doin it myself. I figure it was to be legal since it is white and probably lights up the plate good. I'm not sure if it would light it up really good backwards, but just a thought.
