52733, Who has lowered their car? Any camber problems? stock shocks/struts? Posted by chrysler kid, Jul-14-03 10:42 AM
i lowered my rs by myself and never had any camber issues. i am worried tho that when i lower my gst it will have camber problems. i rode on stock struts and shocks.
I wonder if putting new shocks on is what causes camber problems?

i dont think that changing the shocks will effect camber but changing the springs might change the camber.

yea i dont think the strut play in as a factor but springs so. Im -2.5* in the front and -1* in the rear. HAHA autocross style but sucks at stand still launches:nono

how do you know youve never had camber problems. have you taken it to get aligned or do you have a computer in your head that calculates exact camber from just looking at the wheels

it really just depends on how much u lower the car.....when u go to get an alignment....get them to check the camber......shocks should have nothing to do with it anyway because they dont lower your car anymore from what u have it at now......u get problems because when u lower the body the wheels start to bow in.....the wheels cant get any lower so it pulls on them....just get a camber kit and all will be good
