hey i got a 95 talon esi, i already have 97 gst wing and i have a gs bumper on the way, just wondering if ya think i should do the full conversion or just leave it be. all i need now is the eclipse rear lights and the bmper then im set. personally i think i should stay talon. got pics here, paint job coming soon.

Is that an OEM wing from a turbo car, or an aftermarket turbo-style wing? The reason I'm asking is because if you look on the right side of the pic, notice how the wing is like an inch off the ground.

I got my turbo wang today and it's like that too! No big deal... it'll twist when you bolt it down. I was just curious if all wings are like that.

yea its oem, lol my mom thought it was messed up when she saw it, i ignored it b/c i didnt want to believe it. but yea i guess they do have a slight twist, i thpught it was b/c i left the bolts on and one was hiher than the other.

just curious: you say you are doing the talon to eclipse conversion. but that usually means you are changing the front to a 97-99 front. but i noticed you had a 95-96 bumper you're putting on. it looks the same as the talon bumper except it has 3 diamonds instead of the talon badge. so really, you are only changing the rear if you do change it. or if you don't, then you just changed the front bumper that looks just like the one you already have on your car. please explain this to me on what you play to do. i am kinda confused.:wary

either way the bumper is a lilttle different.
i didnt say i was doin a conversion i was asking if i should complete it, since i already have a gs bumper and a gst wing all i would need is the eclipse rear light and the rear bumper. but im not goin thru w/ it.

and the bumper im getting doesnt have the mtisu badge it just plain.

the 97-98 talon front end would make a good aftermarket type front if it didnt have the talon symbol in the middle

all 2g talons have the same lights, i did cut the grill out of my eclipse bumper, i have a set of fogs for them i can sell ya cheap if yer intersted?

i say change up the front with some projectors and a 97-99 eclipse aftermarket front, or a stock one if you can find your color. Then jus keep the talon tails and get teh rear lip kit from erebuni or some other place and some side skirts. Thatd be a clean, big pimpin talon, IMO.

just about every aftermarket "kit" piece will fit a lil funky and need some tweeking. Some more then others. I know you can get projectors for like $160 or so plus shipping and the front will vary from kit to namebrand to company. Shipping is what will kill you on all that.....unless you can go local. But i say that if you have to get a front painted at all (ie get a 97-99 eclipse front a different color), you may as well spring the extra and get an aftermarket one. I know not what the erebuni rear lip goes for, but i believe that FarmDogg has them.
