Ok well im starting to paint my interior like some of you have. I have a red eclipse, and the outside color scheme is red and silver. Red car with silver wheels, graphics and the such. But the interior is next and i was thinking mostly silver, with red accents. I plan on making a show car since speed isnt really a big concern because ive been in one wreck, and id rather just build a show car. But i need your opinions on this scheme, because im starting on it tomorrow. Id also like suggestions on other schemes if red/silver wouldnt look good. Thanks in advance!

i think what you said would look pretty good. but you don't need to come on here and say "what should i do to my interior" do whatever you want and then post some pics when your done.:thumbsup

I think it would look good depending on how you did it. What color is you dash? I think it would look bad ass top halk black, bottom red, with all the trim pieces silver. Or maybe the whole dash red and trim silver if it was the right red. Post pics when you get done so we can see!! :thumbsup

The dash and everying pretty much is that stupid stock grey color. I've gotta get rid of that. So far ive got the plastic pieces on the top of the hatch painted silver. Looks pretty good right now. Hopefully the rest will turn out good.

You're pretty much gonna have to get into it and just see how it looks. That worked out fine with my interior. I like it, even tho a few don't.

There's the thread to mine....it's a little more mild than Steve's but a complete interior color change.


If you're gonna go silver buy Fusion White and then top coat that with silver. Fusion will stick better and the white will make your silver a lighter color.

all the silver inserts are dyed to match the exterior btw. Paint just wasn't a good outcome for me. If you wanna match your car and you want high gloss (paint w/ clear coat) go to www.paintscratch.com.

yeah man what you said looks good. i just did my dash i just have to put some of it back together now. i did my dash a dark metalic blue with silver accents. just do what you wanna do not what someone else tells you to do.

i did mine i red and white. see link in sig. i am seriously thinking of changing the white parts to silver though. i havent made up my mind yet. i would like to see how yours looks if you do red/silver. good luck

do what you want man, But be prepared to change. I had mine blue/white first but i felt it was too ricey so i went to silver/black. Much more sophisticated look imo.

i find it SOOOO immusing how chicks can get sooo much help! even tho half of it is worthless help. just my thoughts. yeah, just paint shit and when your dun show us, and it if sucks, do it again! you learn and you live. thats life!

I had the shop spray all the accent peices witht he same color as outside and clear coat them...Then I am gonna glass my dash and spray it gloss black (i want to try and add blue metallic to it)...hopefully it will tunr out good and if it doesnt then i will try again. I say do what you think would be best, cuz it sounds to me like you have a pretty solide idea already...try that and if it doesn't work for you then come back for suggestions :-)
