i have a 95 rs, converted the front to a 99, i bought new foglights but my car didnt come with any. so i bought the relay, the connectors, and i have all the pieces. i just dont know how i'm supposed to connect the foglights to the fuse box then connect them to a switch in my dash, any help would be appreciated..thanx fellas

you shouldn't need to connect them to the fuse box if they havea relay. You just run a wire to the + and a wire to the -. Get your switch mounted and all. The relay is pretty much the fuse right? I dunno shit about electrical stuff, so bear with me. I'm just trying here. I can't remember how I got my switch and relay wired. :wary

allright here's what you need to do,
take the 2 pos. leads off the lights and run them together
take the 2 neg. leads off the lights and run them together and ground them. take the pos wires and run them to the switch. then take a wire from the pos. on the battery w/an inline fuse and run it to the other prong on your switch. the switch just connects and interupts the power line. so basically flip the switch and the wire passes from the battery through the switch to the pos. on your lights. flip it again and it cuts the flow. :thumbsup

but i heard that if u dont use a fuse and a relay that if an electrical burnout should occur, the wire could catch fire or somthin like that? thats why i'm so paranoid lol....thanx for all ur help fellas

did u get factory fogs or did u get the pilot oem kit? I used the pilot kit when I had the stock front and it had instructions and all. Go to advance and open some fogs and look at the instructions or something. :thumbsup

You definitely need a relay and the relay's 12v wire should be fused very close to the battery. There is no need tap your fuse box depending on your state laws. Here in PA if you have foglights, they have to come on with your low beams and they have to dim when you hit your high beams.
