Okay i dont know what im doing wrong here but my autometer tach does not match my stock tach is this normal like when i rev up to 6000rpm the tach is only showing 2500 what am i doing wrong i connected the wire to the coil and two wires to the cigarette lighter.

ok on 96+ u hook the tach up the solid white wire on the ecu "i think its the lower plug" not the coil pack. It should work fine after u do that

ok sence ur is a 98 it should be under the hood on the drivers side u will see it right next to the fuse box. As far as hooking up i just hooked up a splice conector on the white wire and the wire coming from the tach i put a male conecter on it so u just have to plug it in. Also if it is still off just let me know and i know how to fix that becuase some tachs r set for 8 cyl instead of 4

Do you have the pic of the white wire because there is more than one white wire in there and i dont want to fuck something up. Or a diagram

what wire do you use for a 95 .. i haven't been able to even locate this wire yet .. there is no white wire on a 95 .. i've looked everywhere

I guess nobody knows where on ecu to hook up the wire. I really would like a pic of the wire or at least a diagram this thing is being pain in a**.

most people can just go buy a chiltons and figure this out
anyways just to let you know it has little brown squares on it its the connector on the bottom you have to pull the top one off to get it
take off some of the electrical tape and dig through the wires to find it and wala splice connect your done

ok for 95 its the white wire in the middle plug for 96+ its the white wire in the lower plug the wire can have spots of other color but make sure it doesnt have a tracer on it ex. White wire with a yellow stripe it will be solid white and its in the lower plug if ur 96+ if u still cant find it hit me up on aol da27055
