Some pix my friend posted of a 2G he shot with chromalusion over black. Don't think I'd want flames on my car, but these are purdy darn slick.

The flames are cool, especiall how they change with the light. But not on an eclipse. Perhaps they would have looked better on a old cruiser or hot rod.

Don't get me wrong, I agree about how the car is too stock for them, I just thought the color changing/kinda transparent effect was cool. Guess I'm in the minority.

Although I don't like it on an eclipse, I certainly don't think it is ricey... Its not like he airbrushed APC all over the car or anything... :rolleyes

Those aren't just flames - they're art. That's some professional looking shiot mang. Now just get some GM rims and a bit more drop and you'll be tight. :thumbsup

i couldn't have put it better myself. that is definately a top notch paint job, the flames look really good, but they definately belong elsewhere.

car = ugly. flames = very professional and nice, great on the right car. Well I dont like flames on imports, but like I said, great on the right car.

That looks sweet imo. The flames look bad ass and very well done. It needs some other body work to it though for them to look 100% correct on the car. I would love to get some pearl ghost flames when I get my car sprayed.

Holy shit those are the most fucking awesome flames I have ever seen, period. I think it looks fine the way it is, but some bigger better rims and some lowering springs would complete the look. I have to give props to anyone who has a 95-96 and paints it nice with the stock bumpers. 95-96 for life mang!

I have to wonder how that kind of paint job would look on silver. Not the same pattern though, but something unique.

I would have at least done some suspension and bodywork first before doing that. But like others have said, that is a sweet paint job. Can anyone photoshop a body kit up there and drop it with some rims? IT may be a bit much but just to get an idea......

i said "call uncle ben cause its rice-a-roni time" because..yes the paint job is superb. VERY nice. But why waste it on a stock eclipse? That's stupid. Sorry but in my book thats rice. Stock car with body graphics. I wouldda done engine work then body kit then MAYBE graphics..well i wouldn't put graphics on but i would definatley do graphics last.

I think the design of the flames is too short on the sides. I love the color change tho. Really slick. drop the car with a kit on it and I think that would help. MAYBE

my .02.... i think that paintjob is badass.... whoever did that flame job is one hell of a painter IMO.... i agree that whoever owned the car should have first got the body ready before applying the paint...its kinda like having michaengelo paint on toilet paper.

Don't know if I would do that to a DSM but damn those are soem sick flames! that paint is bad and your dude does some kick ass work.

I like the flames itself, way better than the flat color designs out there. I must say that the flames and the car at this point doesn't look good, but im sure the car would look way better if it had lowering springs, aftermarket wheels, and mabe a body kit.
