51264, Chrome out engine? Posted by RudoraEclipse, Jun-25-03 07:24 AM
I am wanting to start chroming out my engine for shows so I don't just have wire loom. I don't want to have my stuff dipped though, does anyone know where I can get or if they sell aftermarket chrome parts for my engine??

It's cheaper to have your stock stuff chromed. You can get a chrome valve cover from www.chrome2go.com and Injen makes a polished fuse cover, those are the only things i know that you can BUY.

I ordered a chromed valve cover from summit racing like 2 years ago. They were on backorder and they never got anymore. I am getting 1 from a neon soon. No letters. }( Best thing to do is to get extra parts from a junkyard and have them chromed or ur parts chromed while the junkyard parts go on. This way you have minimal downtime, and you have the original stuff so that you can make back your money some if u ever sell the car. :thumbsup
