I sprayed a lot of my interior pieces with duplicolor vinyl paint but the finish seems really rough. is there anything i can put on it to make it smoother? tia

try some clear coat. I've always used plasticote's vinyl paint because thats all the have around here. most of my pieces are pretty shiny especially the vinyl pieces not so much on the plastic ones.

I'm not sure how you painted yours but i used plasticote on mine and it's shiny enough for me. This is how mine came out. I always assumed that both brands were basically the same.
the bezel is painted now red so its changed a little.
