well my car is going to be painted tommorrow (droppin it off at 8am) and today is my last day to scramble and get everything done .. finish handsanding the front bumper (From all those cracks!) and fix any little airbubbles on the sideskirts / hatch .. and i know most of you hated these but me and blinkbizkit500 liked them so ha! i got those window covers .. they JUST came like seriously 5 mins ago .. talk about good timing ! .. i'll be sure to post pics when its done painted (most likely thurs/fri)

btw the covers are being painted the same color as the car .. im not leaving it

YEAH YEAH charlie!!! They look good....hmmmm i think i might get them now too!!! :thumbsup Let's see some pics too of the finished project, can't wait to see how this baby turns out!!

hey wtngclan i want to know how and what did you use to get rid of the back wing i want to take mine off but the holes are way to big the local shop is charging me 600 bucks to shave the holes and paint it i would really appreciate if you told me how and what did you use anybody. thanx

as i explained to blinkbizkit500 last night :) theres the right way and then the ghetto way .. i did the right way

i rented a welding machine for like 150$ (i split it w/ a friend cuz he had to do some projects also)

made myself a little short shifter

welded all the holes shut (you have to sand first)

get a grinder (like 60$ you can prob get one cheaper tho)

grind down the welds till its a little below even

use bondo and get it all even

paint

thats the right way

the ghetto way

put like pieces of can or quarters or whateva behind the hole w/ bondo and get it all even

that isnt going to last that long if at all
your better off doing the right way .. but the poor mans way works also :) i had to use it for my doorcap holes .. it works
