Still looking for a vis invader hood. Any condition

Forgot don't mind the doddling on the windows girlfreind gets board and turns my car into a fairy moble.

i would shave a little bit of the sideskirt on the fender down, but other than that it looks good.

I hope you used fiberglass under that bondo if not it may crack very easily. Bondo is only ment to fill in small dents not for filling in large areas.

yeah i totally agree i hope you used fiber glass and resin under that bondo.....other wise it;s gonna crack like a spider web...........

why would you use fiberglass? bondo sticks to scuffed metal way better than fiberglass. did you mean mixing the bondo with fiberglass?

other way around ^^ Fiberglass when used correctly will work better then bondo, however you still run the risk of it cracking over time. Bondo is only meant for very thin layers (ie dents) if you use it in large amounts it will flex and crack. I have seen rear bumpers molded in with bondo last no more then a week, but once redone in fiberglass did not see one crack in months. I am sure there is a more technical way to explain this but I am not going to try.

i know that but fiberglass is not used to mold things. it is used primarily to fix them.there is some other pre-bondo stuff thst is basically a bondo-ish mix with firberglass in it

No i just used regualar bondo. I Put tons of rivits and there is alum. brackets on the bottom side. After i am done i am going to run a steal tube or square tube or some angle iron on he bottom side. I won't be driving the car much other then occasional or taking it to the race track. Ps it will most likely be a trailer bitch.

I forgot to mention what ben said about the sideskirt meeting the fender i planned on grinding it down more but then i started on the other side (witch fits bad) but i was going to grind it down more and extend the bondo further up the fender. To you others think the bondo will hold up. I don't plan on putting more then 1000 on a year. besides after i rebuild the motor then i will try to put as many miles on as i can to break it in.

not tru, in the custom world, fiberglass is one of the most used things, for anything, exspecially moldinng and blending.

thats gorrilla hair, not as stong aas fiberglass or fusor.

as for doin body work for the past 5 years, speak from what you know, not from what you heard

as what icedout said, hes exactly right, over time and a couple bumps here and there, it will crack, just the characteristics of bondo, which should be used as pre finishing putty,and to fill small dents or guasses, not to mold in something thats gonna see everyday and freaquent abuse. (everyday driving)
