wont work on rs. the console shape is completely different. that is a replacement for the lids on GS and up

my rs' center console has precut holes for the armrest hinge thanks to Jarrad, i now have a rs, with an armrest. i even compared it, there is no difference in shape whatsoever.

yeah the shape itself is the same, but you cant throw a gs lid on an RS because there are holes and grooves that the lid's hinges need

They used to be replacements at first; actually were better. Now you just epoxy glue it to the actual armrest. Fits fine but doesn't cover 100% from one side to another. Still looks good. Here is mine to show you. :D

I just put one on my car and it fit like a glove. Did you remove the cover and foam padding before installing it?

<yeah the shape itself is the same, but you cant throw a gs lid on <an RS because there are holes and grooves that the lid's hinges need if you snap that plastic rs dish off of a center console, you will see the holes and latch that allow the use of a gs armrest, like i said, i have compared the rs/gs consoles side by side, and there is no difference once stripped down, everything is interchangable. i have an rs console with a tsi's armrest, and i have all of the holes and whatever needed. so yes it will work

he's right, there interchangable, The piece in the rs just pops off and if you take the tray under the armrest in the gs off they are the same. I know I put an armrest on mine.

yes, they may be interchangeable. but you cant put a GS lid on an RS without modification---is that better?
anyways, back to the topic at hand, that is just a shitty cover for looks and doesnt even replace the whole armrest
