My bumper is off right now and I need to know, when you took off your bumper did you take off all the plastic crap at the bottom and leave it off? Like that plastic piece that the medal support of the bumper attaches to? Do we need it?

i took mine off. I've had them off for over a year on both my 95 bumper and 97.

I have a stillen bumper waiting to get painted and I took a look at it and it doesn't even have a place for that stuff. Guess I should have looked there first! Well consider it gone!:thumbsup

if your talking about the plastic things at the bottom that my friend took off, all they do is give your bumper extra support.

i had to take it off to fit my stillen

(Its actually stock sarrono red, but my digicam sucks, so it looks like a different color)

if your talking about the plastic piece thats inside the middle of the bumper opening, then its the radiator shroud that deflects air to the radiator for cooling. i took mine off because of my intercooler and had no problems yet.
