Ok, im getting kinda confused. Now i know the CF hoods make your car lighter. But why does everyone leave em black? :wary Cant you paint them? I dunno it just looks a bit odd to me but i was thinking bout getting one but i want to paint it. Maybe im strange like that :thumbsup

i think its so every body knows its carbon fiber. usually if its gonna be painted you get a fiberglass hood.

i agree, and my car is black so i just left it becuase it matches.

i like it looking like c/f b/c of two reasons:

1. it's carbon fiber
2. it acutally flows with my color and the lip and headlights and the piece right below the windshield on the wipers (i painted it a glossy black so it blings)

that's my reasons. and besides, it's cool:thumbsup
