what spoilers will replace a factory 3 prong one that covers the holes in the middle without having to fix them, or how much does it cost to like have a terminator type spoiler put on and the middle holes welded or fixed by a body shop. just curious, if i buy this gs-t im looking at its going to have the crappy low spoiler.

actually im starting to like a turbo spoiler but im sure this gs-t is going to have the 3 prong so id have to weld those holes i guess, does anyone know about how much it would cost me to have that done because im doing a 97-99 conversion too so i wont have a lot of $$. of course i couldnt find one with atleast a turbo spoiler already on it. sigh.

I have the wings west type that fits the OEM holes. I think that's the only one that I know of that fits OEM. Welding holes will take only about 2 hrs and the going rate of $40 per hour for a certified welder. The body work that follows depends on the shop.

if ya go with the turbo wing, be prepared to spend some bucks at the body shop....that's if ya wanna have it done right. there was a post a month or so back where a bunch of guys listed how much it cost them to get the turbo wing installed. it cost me 1000 bucks to get mine done completely.

ouch. id pay $1000 to have a bodykit put on but not just a wing, screw that. i will get pricing soon, i may go with a terminator style that will cover them up or just go turbo wing. i really want a few main things done to my new car if i get it. thats a wing, 97 conversion, muffler, intake. thats why im shooting for this so hard but in will no way ever pay that much to have it installed, i think $500 sounds too much. i think prices here are a lot cheaper though.

yeah, if i were to have it done again....i def. wouldn't pay a thousand bucks.

yeah i cant wait because i hate i mean i HATE the 95 style... i should have the bumpers and sides ina couple of weeks if my new car doesnt drain all of my money, or if i even buy it. if not ill do it to my current eclipse though. if i buy the gs-t my fiance will be driving it until i have 1) conversion 2) muffler 3) sound system 4) spoiler. seriously :) . i want a car that looks fast ya know? mine looks good now im not wasting that to go back stock anytime soon.

i had the low spoiler on mine.
i welded all the holes on both quarter panels (like 6 holes on each) and i had the antenna weled over, and the other holes on the hatch from the wires going through. GTR spoiler, front blitz bumper painted, rear blitz bumper painted, hatch painted, quarter panels painted. with paint, fiberglass, bondo stuff, sanding paper, all the supplies, it came out to be 700 even.



oh yeah, did i mention that it was free labor? lol. :thumbsup

find a guy that owns a shop and make good friends with him, then you get shit for cheap. be smart.
