I need to buy a new door handle for my car (driver side broke). I wanted to know if they can be bought prepainted or whether they are all black.

i believe they are black, you have to have them painted

The same exact thing happened to me. The drive side broke off when I tried to get in my car one day. I went down to the dealer and it cost I think around $115 and then they wanted another $120 to install it. I just bought it and had my own mechanic put it in for less. It comes painted in black. Luckily for me, my car is black :D If your car isn't painted, you could always leave it black or pay probably a some more to get it painted.

Well I called around and the best price that I found was from Conicelli Mitsubishi. $50.50. Not too bad. Ordered it this morning.

Yeah the best I found was 65 from the local chrysler dealer and they have em in black and white. I needed red so I hit up a local junk yard and found one on an Avenger. Matches perfectly and it only cost me $25. I installed it myself.
