I seen this at a show. I want one with a blackish tint to it. Let me know.......

I don't know about the tint though. But I've also heard that they are truly "for show only" since the hood doesn't deal with heat too well.

YEah i wouldn't have it one there every single day. Just for meets and shows and stuff like that.

You could just use regular window tint.

I don't know if its me or not, but I like these hoods, you can show off what you have, and not have to pop open the hood..

I've seen a civic last year with it, it was sweet.. it had it semi open, and had a fog machine.. had a cool effect..

I don't know what you guys are smoking :-) .. go through any JC Whitney catalog, and you will see them showing the hood on a 2G..

The one in the picture I posted is the eclipse at Carlisle

i could get a clear one, and eventually it will look smokey... mmm nothin like burnin' oil off of your block

just wondering..is it worth all that money just to have a clear hood on a show? I dont think so..better to get other parts and just lift the hood on the show...dang...:-(

i thought abut getting a smoked one for awhile then i heard they do not like heat, anyone know if there is a better version yet?
