46703, Question about our seats Posted by euro_clipse, May-04-03 11:16 PM
For those of you with the 7 way(I think) adjustable "sport" seats, is there any way to make those worthless side bolsters more supportive?? They have the look, but it's all bark, and no bite. Plus the the bolsters on the bottom part are getting flatter and flatter with time, and I want to improve them. Can't afford racing seats either.
Also does anybody else have a squeaking problem with the bottom of the seat when you shift your weight around??

Yeah the side bolsters suck! Under hard cornering I have to put all my weight on the steering wheel and e-brake w/o affecting the turn.

I seriously think I will put atleast 1 racing seat in every car I ever own now. The stock seats do suck when you feel the difference. I was used to it, now I'm spoiled. Seats should be designed better. Should sit in the seat, not on it.

I thought that controlled the lumbar support??!!?? am I wrong about that?
Ive just gotten used to pushing up against the door panel or the center console with my knees during hard turning..

the one on the outside controls lumbar, the one in the middle moves the bolsters back and forth. it was only on 95 seats i believe
