46598, Quick question on Air Fuel Ratio Gauge Posted by bokchoi, May-03-03 08:53 PM
Sup 2gnters. I just got a air/fuel ratio gauge and I'm having a little trouble locating the damn wire that I'm suppose to tap. I remember reading a post where one said to remove side panel from drivers side and theres a black tube holding that wire along with 3-4 other wires or something like that. A white wire with black stripes correct me if I'm wrong. Also, theres three wires: black, red and purple. I'm sure one goes to the sensor, one to ground, but where does the other go?

Hey thanks you guys...the autometer site helped. But i was wondering you guys know where the O2 sensor maybe in our car. Would I have to drive it through to the front hood or is that wire somewhere within the console? If it is white w/black stripes where is it?

I'm sorry, I'm a little new on this. Can anybody give me a brief explaination on where I tap the wire? Is that wire within the ECU box? Man...feelin stupid...
