to glossy imo. and does the speaker cover just llok lighter because we can see behind it? I would suggest painting the area black behind the speaker cover also.

It doesn't quite match the original work you did. I'd suggest going over the old to match the new. Other than that, it looks great. I have the same part you had painted, and I was thinking of doing exactly what you did. Mine is grey though, and I don't have the pockets.

it looks a bit too glossy cause it wasnt 100% dried (the clear coat) when the dash is armor-alled it looks exactly the same, but now I think I need to paint the stock black panel to match.

The grill looks funny. Did you try to cover the grill with grill cloth or something? Looks tore up around the outside of the grill. Besides for the grill, I think it looks nice.

not sure what you mean. I cant pull the speaker covers off, so I taped off around them then painted. The main problem with them is there is a piece ofplastic behind them that is *impossible* to cover completely with paint, the only reason you can see behind the grill now is this was a night time shot with a VERY bright flash, if you check the day time pic, you cant really see behind it.

I would guess that since he couldnt get it out and had to tape it off, that gave him some straight edges and therefore it doesnt look rounded. I am just guessing though.

Actually, that speaker cover does come off. If you take off the door panel, you can take it off from behind.

my car is an RS, drum brakes prove it ;)

I got power windows and power locks too, but I keep hearing that RS'es dont come with those options even has a stock lower spoiler and cruise control.

the speaker grill is covered just fine in person, it just looks "not round" in the pix for some reason, I'll try to snap better pix when I get the chance.

I think it looks bad ass =)
and thanks for the help in picking what to do, my first choice was #1 but I really do think this way is better

I have power windows, locks, cruise control, and even a sunroof on my RS. And I bought it from the used dealer that way. Someone must've upgraded when they bought it I guess. You're not alone though :)

P.S. I think it looks tight :)
