After going through 3 sets of expensive wheel and tire combos myself....I say get the knock offs. They only people who need expensive wheels are show cars.

One pothole + Bent rim = screwed.

No problem with nice things or "doing it right" but at $400-$500 a rim...I'd be nervous driving on the streets everyday. Just my opinion though.

Well that price for the Volks is from www.machiii.net. I have never dealt with them before. The REV are from www.speedandstyle.com I know a few guys that have bought from there.
But I like the Volks. That color isn't exactly duplicated and only one true Volks, but the price with tires, no doubt will make them TWICE the amount of the cheap ones. And yeah I am not the show type anyways...Plus these might be for my new project. ;) }(

Save the cash, I don't see any sense in spending that much money on rims. I mean i have nice 17's i dont kno shit about rims, but they look nice i got em from wheelmax for 900 shipped with kuhmo 225 wide tires on em. Fine for me.
