ok my gas cap is screwed. it doesnt want to pop up for some reason and i cant even pump my own gas and you pretty much have to hit the corner while someone is pulling up on the lever in the car to get it open now. what could i do to fix it? ive fooled with trying to bend the metal piece in it but i dont know if thats the problem or not ive even dented the outside really nice when i was mad.

This happend to my old civic. In the civic, there was a wire for the gas cap, I'm not sure about ours. But basically, you just need to reconnect or adjust the wire. I guess the way the throttle cable is connected. Remove the plastic side panel where the gas open switch is located and see if you can see the wire. It wont cost much to fix it either, a body shop did it for free for me when I had to have other work done.
