prolly some kinda hinges on the mounting points or some shit. Why would u wanna do that? Some shows take points off or give u a 0 if they have probs seeing ur bay. I just open my hood OG style. Whatever floats ur boat tho. Or ur hood.

yea, and that would make working on the engine a bitch. and 9d9 is right, you cant see jack, youd have to get on your knees with a flash light to see anything. its origional no doubt. hell, if you wanna be diff, why dosent someone make a kit where the hood lifts up in teh back, like the older vettes and stuff. that would be pretty cool

Maybe something similar to the floating hood, but the hood sits in front of, and parallel to, the windsheild. This would allow unhindered access to the engine bay (since I spend an aweful lot of time with my hood off for access reasons)...
Just a thought...

A few months ago someone was selling kits to make the hood open like an old vette and also one that opens by going over the windshield...don't remember who it was though...think it was in the GB section...
