who makes the best quality blitz kit. i want one that will fit with very little modification and is made with nice thick fiberglass. The thing is i live in canada and in my town there are no shops that specialize in this kind of stuff. I know a couple of auto body guys very well and i know they can give me a show quality paint finish but, they dont have alot of experience with body kits. also does anyone if its true that there is a urethane blitz kit?? some one posted on Dsmtalk saying there was one.

NO!!!! get urethane out of your head!!!! no good for you! I got and original Neo Blitz kit fits "like a glove"

What's so bad about Urethane? I'd rather have the flex over the breaking of fiberglass....?

dude whats wrong with urethane? if the after market urethane can hold up like my stock bumper i would not hesitate to buy one. after a canadian winter with heavy snow a 2" drop and numerouse run ins with snow banks after doing my best tommi makinen impression my bumper came away with a bunch of scratches but no major damage, jjust some minor cosmetic flaws. the paint is scratched and cracked but none of it has peeled off and it still looks decent untill you get up close. I dont think fiberglass could handle that much abuse.

Urethane cannot be repaired like fiberglass can. It costs about DOUBLE of a fiberglass bumper, and when urethan ie painted and it flexes, the paint will start to chip and bubble etc. That's why fiberglass is much more popular than urethane...

JT is actually a body shop that does a lot of conversions. They did the Silvia conversion there, its custom. They had to cut into the fender etc. You could get it done too for almost 2 grand. A guy with a civic just picked up some Silvia headlights from us for a grand. Pretty scary thinking about holding a 500 dollar headlight in each hand...

Hey Keith, where did you get your kit and body work done at? Im assuming you have a hook up for this kind of stuff. Any way i may just go with a stock 97 up eclipse front with a set of projectors or, i will be the 2nd talon in canada with a blitz kit =) so you might have to watch out for the bone stock talon with the body kit at all the shows ( i sold everything except my suspension and wheels to fund a turbo kit but i lost my job. so now i have to start all over again). Another thing, my buddy Jon just oppened up http://www.importparts.ca (he's a good guy and has very competitive pricing for us canadians) so he can get me basically any kit I want but i still dont know who makes the best quality ie. VIS, Carisma etc.
