suns going down and i need to finish this, i bought foglights. each light had a pos. and neg. I grounded the two neg.s and connected the positives. I now have one wire to both lights. I have a wire also going from my battery w/a inline fuse. I bought a toggle switch w/only 2 plugs on it and when i hook up the battery wire and the pos. wire to my fogs, it doesn't work, wtf? do i need something else?

Do you have a relay? That is what sounds like is missing. The third wire from the fog lights go to the relay. Same with your toggle swith and you have to run a power wire and ground wire to it. You can pick up one specifically for fog lights (made by pilot) from autozone or pep boys. It should come with a diagram telling you what wire goes where or it might come with a matching socket.:thumbsup Hope this helps;)

another thing you could do is run them to your fuse box with the parking lights. anytime the parking lights come on, they come on. just incase you decide to not use the relay:thumbsup
