Well, even if domestics have it, it may look good. Atleast it's original. PLain paint isn't original at all. I thought one thing about this site would be props and opinions, but lately, people just wanna knock everybody else's cars. We need to stick together with our cars. We better face it, we have the minority car out there.

You know I probably shouldn't say anything because I've got the least modded Eclipse here, but I would define almost everything you did as 'rice'. Now if you like it and you got chicks checkin' out your ride, that's COOL!!! I know I'm not getting any looks, except when I'm done spankin' a Civic that thinks he's all fast and shit. This is just MY OPINION. I don't PERSONALLY like huge decals, huge CHROME rims, Mitsu Logos all over the car, and fangs. But I DO REALLY like what you did with the clear center piece in the back, I wanted to take all the letters off mine and put a Mitsu logo because I've never seen that but I guess I'll have to come up with somethin' else now. Hehe, KEEP MODDING DUDE you'll get there.

I like the flame graphics on the side. Personally, I'd prefer no graphics at all, but if I had graphics, I'd want something like that...but I really don't like fangs on any bumper, not even the wings west agressor. But everyone has their own opinion...nice car!

OK? RICE? There is a difference between rice and show. My car doesn't have HRC on the side with no turbo or anything. I have the car for show. I am getting the styling part knocked down 1st. There is a difference. Rice is when u go for performance and fail. I am going for show, and have plans for performance. I don't really care if people hate my car. I admit, it's slow, but I would rather be slow and lose a race and look good doing it, than win and look like shit. That's just me. And someday, I will be fast, and that's not rice, that's a goal and my ambition. Thanks, and like I said b4. It's not rice, b/c it doesn't have an H on it. It's a wok b/c it cooks rice.

Also, to all the people who can accept other cars looking good, or giving constructive criticism, thank u all for the suggestions and the support. To all the stuck up people who believe they have God under their hoods, realize, u aren't the fastest, someone is always better. If u have the negative statements, keep them, I am looking for props, and or suggestions, not" your car looks like shit" or "my car is better because it moves and looks bad and yours just has style" Thanks to all the guys that have been here a while and aren't stuc up with yourselves, u r the motivation and the answers to the questions.

I dont much care for the fangs personally, but everyones got there own taste.. but I do like the flames quite a bit. anyways man, just dont mind the people who seem to be talking trash. Tis but my opinion. Who cares what I think, my car looks like crap (scrape on back bumper and no interior passenger side door panel)and it's not as fast as a modded Civic Si, that kills me but I don't care. If you want constructive critism, then, lose the fangs and the rims that should be on a luxury car, lose a few of the stick on mitsu logos and skirt and lower the car. JUST MY OPINION. Don't take offense to it, your getting all mad because so far no one seems to like the fangs. BIG DEAL!!! Anyway, someone end this thread before it gets out of hand.

Yeah, that is a nice definition of rice. I'm not sweating it. I could care less what most people think. I tend to do my own thing. I just like to have suggestions and input. Those flames are tight. I tought about going with color change flames. The fangs will look better when I get the new front on and painted. This will happen monday-wednesday. They said3 days. And on the sweating it, I wasn't, I am just saying, we can't be downing each other here. We gotta stick together. Hondas and Domestics are out like crazy and have a lot more aftermarket parts. Maybe I like the fangs tho. The rims aren't chrome. My car is dropped on eibach sportlines and is too low for skirts for where I live. The roads suck. The rims are 17" enkei katanas. SILVER! And if u don't lik the thread, don't try and call a car rice. If u woulda read my mod list, u would have known that my car was dropped, and if u would have asked, I would hve told u my rims weren't chrome and heavy as shit. Also, the fangs might not be for u, so what, they ae here to stay on my car. Let's not end the thread. I have gotten great criticism from everyone. taloned dog, I didn't mean to direct that at u. U kept the comments clean and simply gave constructive criticism. U didn't say anything about rice. We have a meeting tomorrow in Lexington. I think we have about 8 cars. Eclipses only. And I think all are 2nd gen's right now. Maybe we get in touch somehow and come up with an NC thing.

Dude, these are show/luxury car wheels but I guess that's what your lookin' for. If it were me I would go for a sports wheel look on my sports lookin' car, but that's my opinion. They do look chrome in YOUR pic, I didn't bother to read the mod list in great detail(where you mention they are silver). And what's rice are the mitsu logos all over the place. I guess the reason I don't like it is because I'd rather go fast and look like crap, than have a car that EVERYONES gonna want to race and not be able to beat anyone(I don't mean "ANYONE", but you get it right). (NOTE- All the added weight of your non-performance mods)
And you're right the fangs aren't for me and that's what I meant.

PS and you need skirts, get PROKITS instead of the sportlines and get skirts, you'll probably looks just as low.

Why take off springs and spend more money on a mod that I already have? Skirts add extra weight anyways. I didn't say my rims were silver I don't think. And My car does look faster than it really is, but after momday, it goes in to have the front put on. The next mod will be the HRC Stage 2 turbo kit. Then, I can look as fast as I am. Also, I would like to say let's end the arguments between us. I have no problem with u. Also I have a question for u guys here. Are there any skirts that aren't as low as the stock ones? There is like a thin metal runner on the side on the bottom of my car, it scrapes sometimes, so the skirts can't be lower than it. If u look under the side of an RS, u will see what I am talking about.

Rice= when you make your car look fast, and don't plan to make it fast for real. Some people do power first, some do show first. It's all in how you like to drive it.

okay boys and girls, it's time to go to school! there are 3 kinds of cars; show, go and straight. go is when you keep the looks for the most part stock and modify it performance oriented. show is when you put the wings, body kits, rims and paint on it in good taste to make it look good. adn rice it a boy driving a toyota corolla with a big a$$ "type r" sticker on the back. silver hubcaps with imitation cross-drilled rotors and one of those played the f@#k out toyota supra spoilers(shopping cart spoiler) on the back that is taller and probabley weighs more than the car. now the question is where does 9D9 fit in. IMO i would say mostly show but he's got a lil rice (the fangs on a stock bumper and the mitsu stickers everywhere). think his car will look better when he gets the new front end and takes some of those stickers off. but other thatn that it's his visual expression that he's proud of. at least he didn't go towards the way of corolla boy!

Yes, to the last question you asked. Also I made my comments based on, like if I bought your car or something, what I would change about it. And when I said "mostly" ricey, I guess I shoulda said it has some rice. I don't think there is a TRUE definition to rice either, but klipzes description is pretty right on to what I think it is.

I agree on his definition there. I put th car in the shop today. You will never see my car out there with fangs on the stock front. :) I am also thinking about scraping some stickers off. I am keeping the fangs b/c they sould look good with my new front.(my opinion) I like the fang look. Besides, I have a plan for when i go turbo. I am gonna put RS on the left side on the hatch. Then REALLY SLOW? on the other side. And I am hiding my FMIC so it will be a total sleeper. I am tinking about those sideskirts first tho.
