I'm gonna remove the tint on the back hatch of the car, the previous owner had some ugly hand made tint done, so what should i use to remove the tint? will i have n e major problems or noticable streaks when removing it?

My friend had to remove his tint after getting a ticket for it and he just used a razor to scrape it off. I never noticed any streaks, just a clear window :-)

also I have heard this before

remove it by first spraying it with a solution of amonia and water, then peeling, then re-spraying, then scraping with a razor.mix about a 20% solution of amonia. You can also buy the mix at most auto parts stores that sell tint.

Aceton with a cloth to clean it without a razor.

Use some simple green diluted in water, and a razor blade. The simple green breaks down the glue, and the razor to scrape away the glue once the film is removed.

be careful of the defrosting lines, they might come off with the tint.
