i just attempted this after reading hondahaters write up and just wanted to say i love it:) i did the cruise control / fog lights / mirrors today just as a test (at 4$ a LED sheesh!) and plan on doing the rest in a day or two .. i took tons of pictures so i'll be sure to get them on here just wanted to say thanks to hondahater for the writeup ..great info

tools used:
solderin iron
solder
wire cutter
wire stripper
led 3.2volt blue
resistor
and power tester (to find the power wires)
electric tape
1 1/2 hours :)

I just recently did it also and I like the blue a lot more than the orange :D I'm doing the rest of the switches bit by bit and I think the guys at radioshack no me by now cause I keep buying their LEDs.

If anyone wants 4 blue LED's for 10$ e-mail me. I have no use for them and paid 4$ a piece at radioshack...perfect for HVAC stuff anf lights

ok i tried doing a few more lights today and ran into a problem .. how do you change the light in the dimmer knob .. i can't get the dimmer knob out for the life of me!

Light in the dimmer knob? I have a dimmer knob, but no light in there.. Maybe it's burnt out?

Has anyone tried this with smaller LED's? I know that they can be foudn smaller. Also does anyone have a write up on the AC light?

Hey.. I'll do a write up for the AC light since I just did it a few days ago. I should have it done by tomorrow.. I hope :D

if you go to www.lightlens.com they have the factory size bulbs that fit perfect. Little expensive though

if anyone wants LEDs for their HVAC or other gauges etc, but doens't wanna pay $4 and LED for blue, email me, i can get em much cheaper. (how does half price sound) the more people in, the cheaper they are. (can get other colors too)

I believe if you want the blue ones the part number is L74B or something like that. I ordered 'em yesterday. I'll have one extra to sell. The total order cost $14 shipped, if you wanna go halves on it email me at jpuglia@cfl.rr.com and we'll talk....
