i have a 99 rs, and i was wondering if the leather seats out of a gst would bolt right in, even in the back since they have that split deal going on? Also what about the drivers being electric, is there a plug already there on our car for that? thanks alot

Thats the route I'm taking. I have a pair of dark gray gsx seats i'm buying off a guy. As for the back im not to worried about those sent i use mine like a extra trunk:) Thier should be an electric plug under the seat...i know i have one. Later.

There are a couple of issues you should be aware of.

First, it differs in 2gnt to 2gnt whether a plug will be under your existing driver's side seat for the wiring of a power seat. For the most part, I would guess that GS's would have them and RS's and ESi's might not. I didn't. But as simple as it is to wire a power guage, I was able to wire in my power seat. Not a big deal.

Second, the new rear seats, if they're the 50-50 style instead of a full 100% pull down seat that you MIGHT already have, you won't have the center bolts in which to bolt them down. Again, not a big deal. You can either carefully, drill some in, or not worry about it. It should just friction fit either way.

To this day, I'm still very happy with my AWD seats. They look and fit great. They are the "sport" seats which have extremely nice lateral supports differing even from my friend Ryan's RS leather seats. (they don't have the lateral supports) You wouldn't think that much of an issue, but on some high G hard turns, instead of sliding in your seat holding on to your steering wheel so you don't fall out, these seats grab you and keep you in place! :-)

great! I just have one concern, I think the only year they made black leather seats was 99, and im not sure if grey leather would look right on the inside of my black interior (the car is silver). Does anyone know of any black leather seats?

Okay, after sitting in Jason's GS-X seats, I was very impressed. Does anybody know if you could get the good seats in a cloth covering? Or if the ones with the nice side bolsters were only avail. in leather.
