no rs's have power windows, it must be a 98gs, cause the only luxury power option that came on an rs was a power moon roof

wrong. it was a power package that you could add on. the original owner could add it or the dealer

and its not "gs" options if it just power. they had different brakes and suspension components

are you talking about the entire door or just the skins? if you've go the door w/ everything on it, i imagine it's just a matter of running the wires. would be pain b/c you'd need to run wires from the passenger door the driver's door. (b/c there's controls for the passenger's windows/locks on the drivers door). other than that it should just be tapping into power and ground.

checkout the other thread on adding aftermarket power windows

i personally prefer aftermarket over trying to do a swap.

w3rd, my 97 rs had power windows and locks when i bought it but not power mirrors or seats.

It also had a moonroof that is not like any other moonroof on other eclipses I have seen.

I'm pretty sure the dealer installed both.

Doesn't bother me much - the windows and locks are great and but the moonroof doesn't have a cover for the inside :(

I wouldnt mind having manual windows. I have an RS with power windows, but because of the crappy Mitsu build its all jacked up.

that's another thing - the aftermarket ones seems pretty sturdy. b/c you're just adding a motor to a crank, all that can really happen is the motor burns out after maybe a couple years. when it's burnt out you can still use a crank to open and close the windows. i dunno how the stock windows on the eclipse are but on some've the other cars my family had there's like plastic pieces on a track an stuff that break all the time. major pain to fix and not much you can do while it's broke.
