Woohoo! I just finished switching out my 96 bumper for a 99 that I bought from a guy here locally. I've had a 97 front end for a while now, but I finally got the rear too! }(
It was a lot tougher than I expected it to be... having to rip out the entire trunk and removing both rear wheels. Now I just need the backup lamps... but they should get here hopefully within next week.
Anyway, enough babbling, here's the pics:

mannnnn i been waiting almost 2 yrs to do mine. i already have the reverse lights, just havent brought myself to buy a bumper. looks good though

Thanks. I wasn't really looking out to buy one though. It was in my "things I'd like to buy someday" list, but then I found out a local guy was selling a black one and it was too good to be true. Not a lot of folks drive Eclipses around here so this was an opportunity I couldn't pass up.
Next on my "things I'd like to buy someday" list... 97-99 skirts and a turbo wang. :D

looks good, i like your jack stand. definetly get the turbo wing, but thats alot more work filling the holes and whatnot.

it does look better!
i got a new 99 bumper for my 95 rear about 4 months ago. Luckily some lady's insurance company had to pay for a local body shop to do the work. I love it. The 99 bumper was cheaper than the 95 bumper so that difference covered the cost of the reverse lights.
