I got a question for people with aftermarket reclinable seats. Which ones seem to fit and feel the best? Is is better to spend the extra money for Corbeau's? Or are the cheaper Tenzo R and DAD ones seem to fit ok?

Got a friend with the tenzos. His seats look killer but they seem to sit kinda high to me. But take into consideration that I am a lanky mofo, so it doesn't take a whole lot for my knees to rub a steering wheel and my head to hit the headliner.

i got tenzo r. They did sit kinda high...but the lip that connects to the sliders had 3 holes on it going down...I just cut off the first 2 and screwed in the lowest one, Im 6-2, 6-3, and im fine in the seat. Much more compfratable than stock IMO

racing seats are definately worth it. they seem to sit higher- giving you a better view of things- you sit in them and not just on them. They hug you. I think the idea about going to a big name show is good. I sat in some sparcos at nopi to see the difference. :thumbsup

I also have tenzo r seats and they do sit high but i like that much better than my old stockers. They are far more comfortable than the old ones and definitely look much better. As far how good they are compared to others, I cannot be sure because I haven't sat in many racing seats but I assure you that the tenzos aren't bad by any means.

I have Tenzo R's too. The grey/black ones. They felt high at first, but you get used to it. I like them, but alot of people who are heavy set, or even thin people who get into the car too quickly, usually hit their ass-bone on the sides of the seats. They dont like that. :+ The sides are thin and not padded as much as Sparco's , but I dont mind cause its never happened to me. :-)

I think mostly- they are for a 36" waist or less. I wear a 36- but I need a belt- I'm probably a 33 or 34 (maybe not even that.) One of my friends got in the car and he wasn't fitting very well. The only passengers that have liked them have been girls or guys that were around my size or smaller than me. My dad loves them. My ex liked them. Racing seats are comfortable as hell. I got the reclineable ones, but I shouldn't have. I could have saved some $$$. I haven't ever adjusted them since the 1st time. I don't have them sitting str8 up, but I'm not pimping from backseat land either.
