I havn't seen just black ( powdercoating ) on the valve cover, goes very nice with the yellow letters.

I was trying to figure out why you have so much space in your engine bay... then i figured it out... Where the hell is your battery and battery tray? And you can drive without a windshield washer fluid resevoir?

Yeah. They battery tray is somewhere in my garage and the battery is sitting in the spare tire wheel well. I haven't had the washer fluid resevoir for quite a while now. I do need to get something to replace it that's smaller.

That is the probe for his EGT gauge.

Looks great man! :thumbsup I love the yellow and black. I also hane my battery in the spare tire well, and my washer bottle removed. You can take a vitamin bottle or any kind of bottle (preferably small) and make a washer bottle out. Just paint it before you install it so it looks nice if someone notices it. You can use your stock pump. All you need is enough for one washing. It saves weight too.

hey.. are u willing to give any instructions on how u did yr powdercoating?.. (stripping.. coating and letters)? i am looking to do mine yellow, but dont wanna pay to have it done.. i have patience to do it... but some simple instructions would be nice and helpful=)...

Yeah. I'll have to try the whole getting a replacement bottle thing. I just want somthing that will look decent in the engine bay (though I still have a mess of wiring to clean up).

How I powder coated it ... I sand blasted the whole thing first. Then I powder coated the part where the letters are yellow (need a powder coated for this). Then I baked it to harden that part. Waited for it to cool. Then taped off the letters. And powder coated it black. Waited for it too cool and took off the tape.

sorry to hijack the thread, but my strut tower bar has that exact same mark on it from rubbing up against the hood! i think i got mine from procarparts.com or some other generic ebay thing. anyone know of any fix for this?
