42163, Help!! Blitz Kit and license plate Lights

I just put the front and back blitz bumpers on my car (Hopefully I will never have to do it again). Anyways, I need to know two things...

(1) What did you do where your inner fender lining doesn't match up to the bumper properly? Some pics of this would be awesome!

(2) The plate that hold the electrical wiring and license plate lights on the rear bumper is badly rusted. Has anyone done anything else other than use their stock holding plate for the lights? OR IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS THAT PLATE WITHOUT RUST I WILL BUY IT!

The installation wasn't that bad. Just I broke one bolt off on the front and 3 off on the rear because they were rusted so badly. I think I'm just going to have the body shop do the sides when the car goes in, but just for kicks how did you mount your sides? Any information would be most appreciated. Especially concerning the plate that the lights attach for the license plate area. I mean mine is rusted to hell!

Thanks all....shout outz to my fellow DSMers!

well I just put mine on and here is my story......

I have no licence lights yet, I am going to get some lighs that are leds that are a bolt. I ditched the old brakets since its a difernt bumper. Now with the fenderwell, Mine dosent fit either, solution, get some thick plastic and cut it to fit, then atach it to the bumper and fender.

i took off my splash guards. i like the look w/ them on. on drivers side it gives you a nice view of the CAI filter. just take out screws and cut w/ a razor along the notched horizontal line where the fender meets the bumper. lol and it saves weight!

for sides i'd suggest asking the shop to install them for u. almost cracked my sides doing the install. anyways, used a drill & drilled 4 screws on each side. 2 front & 2 rear. make sure to turn ur front tires so u can have easy access. the rears are a lil tricky, gonna have to angle the drill. having another person help hold one side of the skirt will help a great deal. btw use double sided 3m mounting tape (black or red) on the skirts.

HondaHater21 i'm really interested on ur led idea for the rear license plate. forgot about the licence plate lights when i had the kit painted.

lol....I went and bought the led bolts today at Autozone too. I'm gonna give them a try, however, I'm thinking it may not work because LEDs are very directional lights. Maybe a lower intensity would work, because the higher the intensity, the more directional the beam of light produced. I'm gonna give it a try today.

Also, are the bolts shit on all Eclipses or just mine. I broke off like 4 bolts trying to put the bumpers on. I went and bought all new bolts and washers.
