Just what it says. I'd like to split open some TYC altezzas and color match them to my car, same with the projectors....anyone know?

i know projectors can. the guy with yellow talon painted his yellow so yes they can. and cyan did the the samething to his altezza's back in the day.

be careful though. i split open some altezzas and the plastic started to melt. i did them the same way, same heat as my factory headlights. just something to look out for. try using less heat.

yes, use a little less heat than normal for the projectors too, the clear housing melted a little when i did mine.

I was never able to get my altezzas open. They started to melt and there are plastic clips that hold the two pieces together. The silicon is not the only obstacle when opening these up.

Did you guys use the oven method or the heatgun/hair dryer method?
