well, my car should be coming out of the shop replacing the motor in a couple of weeks and i was thinking of selling it. well, long story short my girlfriend suggested something i thought was pretty stupid as first but, after going on ebay it changed my mind. She said i should paint the car fast and the furious green. i've already got the same bodykit and rims but, minds is painted M5 blue. you guys think it's gonna sell at a higher price. i know it sounds corny but, goddamn money is money. TIA!!!:thumbsup

I guess it depends on if your painting it yourself or not. If you aernt then it wouldnt be worth it since a decent paint job starts at around $4k and it probably wouldnt sell for $4k more just because its green. But if you paint it yourself it wouldnt be a bad idea because it would be cheap and people do flip out over that fast and furious shit.

It sucks because I really like that color but I cant paint my car that color now, so its hunter green.

the thing is, the car has to be painted anyways, what do you think?

yea if your gonna paint it anyway you might as well paint it a color that gets you the most money in the end right? i say go for it, and for an extra $100 get the same side graphics they used in the movie too off ebay....it'll bring more attention and some ricer will buy it guaranteed.

i disagree. you have the POSSIBILITY of selling the car at a higher price if you paint it in a wild color, however by doing so you limit the number of potintial buyers, which means it will be harder to sell. with a "regular" color, you will appeal to more people, and although the "peak" price may not be as high, you will get close with ease.

i hate to dog a certain segment of the population, but somthing tells me that if you do indeed paint it like the F&F car, the people who will be attracted to the ad will not be of concrete status. i would expect to get a lot of false bids (assuming you put it on ebay), and a lot of hassle to get any money.

perhaps the best option is to put the car up as it stands, and in the ad state that the car will be painted any color the buyer chooses. thats a damn good selling point, if you ask me.

thanks!!!!:thumbsup i gonna have to rethink this through then. BTW what do you guys think of metallic orange???? cuz' ever since i put on my bodykit and painted my car, there's like three other cars that painted the same color and put on the white rims w/ the freaking same bodykit. THANKYOUALL
