if anybody has a pic of the carbon fiber one let me know. i'm thinking of getting a carbon fiber hood instead of the stock hood and removing the graphics. and probably leave the headlight stock black instead of painting them silver. so carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber or black chin piece and black headlights, and no more graphics. hmmm, we'll see.

There's a PSP for ya. I left some black in the front bumper cause I sorta ran out of paint, hehe. Hopefully it gives you a good idea of what it should look like. I think it looks pretty nice.

ok just got the estimates. one place wants $3,191 but did not include the stock foglights. the other place wants $3,042 and included the stock foglights. both places do damn good work. but, here's the but, the place that only quoted me 3,042, they've done 3 of my friends cars and i know they do awesome work. plus, he'll switch the stock hood($479 - not including paint and clear coat) for an invader carbon fiber hood($482), so both are about the same. also, stock headlight (right headlamp assembly $389), dual projector headlights ($250). so as you can see, saving money and getting better things will not be hard at all. also, $200 for the bumper support, i still got my old one, so that's another $200 dollars saved. so i'll keep you guys informed on updates.

LOL you got money for a new bumper even though you never had a bumper on. I wish the SF got to retain the bumper but oh well.

Chrysler Kid - go to almost any import shop and see if they can get you a SF front. The place I got mine from told me I can order now and pay $400 shipped or else wait until more people order to save on shipping and just have it drop shipped on the way. I ended up paying $235 from VIS for it. Took about 1.5 months to get the bumper and it fits perfect. For Shuwa to ship it would cost at least $100-150 so it's almost not worth it for him or you.

mitsuman, do you know where that guy got his carbon fiber lip? that will go great with the cf hood. on yeah, the hood is going to be the invader hood!!! let me know guys. thanks.

ok, got bored again and i came up with a few more ideas to save some more money. body shop wants $380(not including paint and clear coat) for the front. well i still have my stock front(scratches, scraped, and sitting in the shed) so instead of having them order a new one and paint it, just repaint and touch up my old stock bumper. with my mathmatic skills i was thinking that's another $250 saved. also, stock foglight are $230 a piece so that's $460 for the pair. well i have some H3 projector foglights (gold beam to match the gold projector ion lens in the new headlights) so why not use them instead of stock. so just take away whatever it cost to put them in (just mount them, wires already ran) and that's another $430 saved. so i added up everything and got this:

body shop estimate:
$3,042

the new estimate after all the savings:
$2,423(includes fitting and painting new rear and the rmdsm lip)

and since the deductible is $1,000(cheaper insurance) i only have to pay around $500 since i saved all this money but the insurance will still write the check for $3042. hurah!!!! i'll let you guys know future news.

<-----:+ got bored again. today i went ahead and took off the street fighter front (R.I.P.);( and put on ol'faithful (stock front). well i noticed something as did snail_gs. the stock front is lower than my street fighter. and adding the lip is like another inch to the ground. i did this, the ghetto analysis. with street fighter front on there, it's about one 12fl oz. pepsi can off the ground. with stock front, it's about half an inch lower than that. now add the lip, that's another inch. so look at a pepsi can and take off 1.5 inches. that's how low the front will be}( . damn

Fiber Images is making these front lips as we speak!! I'm not sure what he will sell them for, but I'm sure no matter what, they will be STRONG!!! My hood is STRONG as HELL!!! I stand on it daily now :thumbsup just kidding, but I swear by it!!! I'll find out prices in a few weeks!! I'm sure it won't be to expensive!!!

oh well it's cool. car should be in the shop this weekend or by monday at the latest. so i'll order the lip and all the other stuff within a couple of days. thanks for the help. also, how low are you to the ground, b/c i'm going to be kissing it. thanks again.

shuwa29 - I dont know if this will make a difference on how low u are but..... the lip is 2in. Not 1 inch. So u will be even closer to the ground.
