40802, got me some new rims.... Posted by CVedEclipse, Feb-16-03 01:36 PM
well, finally got my 17" ADR rims, wrapped with yokohama es100s (225x45x17) on... now all i need to do is find a bumper that will fit this big ass fmic :) what do you all think? also, for all you RSs out there with 17s and bigger... do your tires rub on your back fenders? cus i have a heavy ass sub with a big ass box.. and yesterday, i had a three in the car, and when i turned, i could hear the tires rubbing the fender..

and a shot of my rims with my new gsx calipers and rotors :)

I've never had problems with my tires rubbing, I have amps and subs in my hatch to. I have real low profile tires though.

Yup, used to rub with the sportlines and 18s on. Had to roll the fenders a bit. Also have some subs in the back. I'm on prokits now tho, so no biggie.

I switched around December of last year. I traded with Derek, he's on the board too, lives nearby. He wanted to go lower, I wanted to go higher, cuz of the front (which btw is wrecked already). Yeah, there certainly is a difference. I don't seem to be scraping that much with the stock bumper. :) About the ride, well, I was a bit more comfy taking corners with the sportlines. My body seems to have more roll, cuz I did a drift immediately after we were done in a parking lot and man, I could feel the car was really tilting. But maybe its just me.
