Ok... Valentines day, which means presents and such. I buy my girlfriend some flowers and somthing from a jewelery store and she buys me something for my car. So today I open up a box with a roof scoop in it... Its fiberglassed pretty nicely and looks nice. But am I going to look stupid with a nonfunctioning scoop or what? I mean I can mold it too my car not just stick it on...but make it look nice. But is it still going to be dumb. How I see it is that its free so mine as well.

naw, just mold it somwhere close to the air intake, that way you can say its functional. ;)

either way, who cares what people say, do what you want.

edit: forgot to add, any girl that buys you car parts as a gift is worth keeping...dont let her slip away!!! :P

He said it was a ROOF SCOOP like in the F&F! There is a guy on here with a white eclipse with one on and I think it looks pretty good. I say put it on and get it molded in! And get pics up when complete!

Why not try to add an opening/closing vent under it so it BECOMES functional. Would have to be sealled pretty good when closed, but...:7

Put it on man.. they're hot imo. Nick was the one with the white car that had it but I think he sold his car. He took side pics of his car and it went from the front of the roof all the way to the hatch... it was really cool looking. Make sure you get lots of pics when it's done.

here is nicks car. i love that car and the scoop is just awesome! not a big fan of the bumper, but thats just me.

IMO, roof scoops are teh win n whatnot. When i get my roof and hatch painted I WILL be getting a roof scoop or three ;)
