The guy I asked to put it on asked for instructions/literature on the kit so he knows if it gets bonded on or he has to do prep work first. He said if he has to do a lot of prepping it will cost $1800-$2000 just to get the kit installed, if not maybe $800.

HEHE, my car is at the Quwhees shop nw getting fitted and wide-kitted. All I got to say is... If the guy needs a instruction manual, then he doesn't need to be doing it. I'd be real weary of it, you mess putting this kit on and you can kiss your body goodbye, it's a one time, expensive, ordeal. Anyway, they don't make instruction manuals on installing body kits, sorry:-(

this is what a guy told me from DSMtuners "quwhees99":

advice? sure i'll see what i can do. the kit is NOT perfect...no matter what others say...you'll need to modify the body kit before you start the process of using fiberglass and bond to mount it on. obviously this kit can't be bolted on...hense the bonding involved. if you're doing it on your own expect a couple of weeks work. i used the help of a fellow body shop and it took around weeks.

the whole car will be repainted so expect to pay major $$$ for the paint, molding, etc.

today i just noticed a 3 inch crack in my front kit. located underneath the right headlight. i baby my car like crazy so it's obvious it's due to the constant weather changes here in my area. i've come across many body kits and the quwhees has the weakest body kit on the market. easy to crack when driving...actually it's going to crack eventually because of how weak the kit and the usual weather changes a car faces.

if you're only going to put the car in the garage...baby it...and only take it to shows...then this kit is for you...other than that...move on and get a bomex or something. trust me...you won't be feeling the heartache (and walletache) i'm feeling right now....seein' this new 3 inch crack appear even though i've been treating my car like a baby hurts.

oh...expect over $4000.00 for eveything exluding the purchase of the $1200-$900 body kit

So i think ill just sell this kit.... heh

I was also once looking at that kit... and was also told that the kit requires some mass changes to the car. If you have experience maybe but you have to have a lot... Otherwise I would not try if I was you
