Ok, first off... is there an actual place or site that sells refurbished rims that still are looking new? i'm wanting a set of 17 or 18 inch chrome rims.. but spending 1600 for the rims, then another 600 for the tires, just seems rather rediculous.... any sites, plz post! also.. i'm going to school and have a part time job, money comes, but not too quickly.. anybody got any ideas that they've tried for a cheap custom look to there car, i do'nt mind being cheap, as long as it do'nt look cheap... so no ideas of putting chrome on my door handles and around my tire wells ;)

I do not know of any place with refurb wheels, but if you watch ebay or DSM trader or here you will find a set cheap. Just be patient.

Of course there is always the big question... How's your credit? ;)

Sand smooth and paint your dash inserts like me! About $15 and some elbow grease is all you need, and I think the results are wonderful!

1600 for rims and another 600 for tires??? That's too much. I think u cud get brand new rims for less than that. I got mine for a total of a grand plus change and that's with 18" Enkeis with Kumho tires, and that came with everything already, like the balancing, and they also threw in those chrome valve stems. Check tires.com for their prices. They have some really good prices on rims if u get the whole package. They also carry good namebrands, but not too fancy tho. I know they don't carry 5zigen, ADR stuff like that, not sure. Hope that helps.

i got brand new 18's w/ tires (mounted and balanced), and a set of tuner lugs and keys for $1084 shipped. from www.autoglitz.com check them out, they are nice people. just call up and ask if they have a wheel in stock and they will start giving you deals.

Try ebay, I got my 17 inch enkei inazumas (they are silver, not chrome like u want) with tires. BRAND NEW for only 590.00 !!!! But ebay might have something you are looking for.
