I just bought some of those silverstar bulbs. One of them is bright white and very nice looking. The other is a nasty looking red, I took it back and got another new one and it has a red look too. Has anyone else had this problem with them?

there must be a problem with your wiring harness or something.. it shouldnt appear red at all..

It's not the wiring harness. It's the bulbs because I can take the white one from the driver side and put it in the passenger side headlight and it lights up white there too. Same with the redish one from the passenger side, if I move it to the driver side, it is still the same redish color.

weird.. guess you just managed to get 2 defective ones in a row.

Yeah, I must have. I finally got one that isn't all screwed up.

i have a different question... whats the difference between the the normal silverstar and the silverstar high performance halogen? TIA

i was lookin at the website and they had the two different ones. i dunno though, im guessin there the same. i picked up a set today. cant wait to put them in, Xenon Blues SUCK ASSS< dont get them.
