19" Chrome to 19" white? LOL. Some people on here need Hondas. JK. It would be original, I'll give u that. But damn, the conversion wouldn't be worth it, plus white rims that big might not be too nice.

Those Kuji rims are imitation 5Zigen Fireball rims (not konig tantrums). I really wanted to get the Fireballs in gunmetal. Anyone know how much these Kuji rims run for 17's or 18's with tires??

im thinking about getting my stock gs wheels powder coated, any ideas? how does it hold up? is it a good alternative to aftermarket rims? i love the stock wheels on my 98 gs, i know, i know, theres a lot better looking aftermarket rims, but i rarely see painted or powdercoated stock rims. i just wish my rims were 17 instead of 16. anyway, ive seen like a gunmetal or greyish-gold color i really liked. how much would this cost?

my friend just had his 17" VX1's powdercoated gunmetal. the shop charged $200, but he had to have them glassbeaded first, but i think that was pretty cheap

Hey guys, let's all try to keep it friendly here. I will say one point about chrome vs. powdercoated. Those are two DIFFERENT styles depending on what you like. I know all my friends down here in socal would never chrome their wheels, because that is mainly part of the low-rider scene down here, not the import scene. A lot of people are into chrome though, and put air bags, chrome everything etc, which does look good. But on the import side of things, most people prefer either powdercoated or straight silver wheels. Style is really different from the east to the west coast, and that's why everyone has their own personal views about things. Fixing up your ride is all about what YOU want - you make your car the way you want it, so to each his own...
