i have it almost out, but there is a cable holding the knob on the right side of the vent on. does anyone know how to remove this? i just wanna finish this before the end of the day, points to all that help me!

Yea, it just pops off. Pull it out from the right side and it will come off. Then when you re-install pop it back in.
