3892, Buddy Club for eclipse? Posted by icjeclipse, May-08-01 01:38 PM
Well here is a pic of an Eclipse with the Buddy Club front. This gives me hope that they can be bought by anyone, but it could just be another custom front. Looks pretty good.
It is funny how this guy has custom front, rear, wing, mirrors, roof scoop, and paint, but stock side skirts.
Also our very own 2gnt member 99GSBBTurbo in the back ground.

that front looks EXACTLY like the buddy club kit i had about a month ago before it was outta here! looks horrible compared to the civic BC, the holes arent deep enough, the front slopes upward, theres no vent between the lights, etc, etc. someone please make one that looks like rick's!!! please!!!

3900, Should I get one?? Posted by eclipse804, May-09-01 01:14 PM
I just saw the buddy club on an eclipse on the street, unpainted. So ya, its readily available now. I'm tired of waiting for that custom bumper I made that still hasn't come back from overseas. Should I just get the buddy club?? I don't want a blitz again. Maybe Sinsei but I don't wanna buy the fog lights. Any suggestions?

I saw the stillen one for the first time last week. It looks really nice!! It is also made out of a soft material that can withstand bumps very well. The car I saw it on was in an accident with it on and nothing happened to it. Just some wrinkles in the paint. I guess it is expensive though.

Hey Marcus get the Buddy Club or Sinsei Series 2. I looks tight and doesn't need those big fog lights. Check there ads in magazines to see it.

I heard that xenon had a kit that when wrecked, it crunches, and u just leave it in the sun and it pops back out. Interesting.

yeah its called urethane...it blows. if youre so prone to hitting things you dont need a kit at all, fiber or poly...urethane spiderwebs the paint when it flexes. and if you hit hard enough, urethane tears. with it being a flexible material, it therefore cannot be bondoed and you gotta pay another $500 for a new stillen bumper. you couldnt pay me to put that stillen clip on my shit anyway, ill just get a stock 99, thats about all it is anyway.
