38815, Where can I get Spectra Mica Blue paint? Posted by MajinVejitaXV, Jan-18-03 09:28 AM
I'm repainting my car sometime in the near future, after putting on some aftermarket parts, and I think I found the color I want to use. Question is, anyone know the best way to get it? I have a friend who's a painting pro but I wanna get the paint myself. Ideas?
Thanks, Corey

Right from the Toyota dealer, it's a stock color on some Toyota's. :thumbsup

don't get it from toyota or lexus, they will rip you off. Get it from a local body shop, or a local body shop supply store. That paint is pretty expensive, i almost bought it.

How much was it? And BTW, how difficult was it to get that 3G polished aluminum gas cap on your 2G?
Thanks, Corey

i think it was going to be ~$650 for the sealer, base, pearl, reducer, harderner, and clear, all PPG brand
I ended up going with HOK Kandy Burple, for like only $50 more.
Molding the 3G gas cap was hard... took lots of time.
