38369, do any exist?
Posted by KSeclipse, Jan-12-03 03:50 PM
money's quite a large issue for me since i pay for everything myself off a 5.25/hr job and i was looking for a body kit but i can't really afford the tons of excess money for molding etc. Do any come that are bolt on or close enough, i realy only want a front bumper and factory skirts for my 98 rs. Is the stillen or any blitz's a perfect fit?

the best thing for you to do would be to find a used one that is in good shape and matches your car color. that way you don't have to pay for painting and stuff. the factory sides are direct bolt on as long as they are the right color. if you get a good quality front it should basically only need painting.

the bomex kit is direct fit and fitament is great but the kit is expensive,

go to library learn how to use bondo and fiberglass resin and make a vis racing kit work not too hard,

yeah in Texas its 6.75, the further north you go, the minimum wage lowers because they have unions and such.

importfan has a good fitting kit. it is a good bolt on and its doesnt really require fitting with bondo or fiberglass. All i had to do is pull and strech it over the front bumper

i would say avoid buying a body kit front from ebay. find a used one that has already been fitted on a car.

Basicaly the rule of thumb is the more you pay the better the fit. Bomex kits and other name brand kits are so much money because the molds are all 1st runs ie not copies. The lower price kits are copies of bumpers sometimes they may even be 3rd or 4th copies and as we all know the more times you copy a copy it gets worse and worse. As far as I have been told importfan.com is a decent fit for a good price.

$5.25 here in Arkansas

urethane kit are more expensive but easier to fit. You can just use a knife to trim it. And NO the blitz kit doesn't fit right.
